The International is pleased to announce a new Teamster Privilege voluntary benefit for Teamster members. The new benefit, Group Critical Illness Insurance, is a voluntary insurance program that provides up to $40,000.00 in cash benefits for covered critical illnesses. This program is offered in partnership with Aflac.
Open enrollment for this program will commence on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Enrollment will close on Friday, October 16, 2026.
Publicly commit to declining any future salary increases until meaningful progress is made on employee healthcare affordability. Engage directly with employee representatives and stakeholders regarding healthcare concerns. Work with the Board of Regents and University leadership to identify sustainable strategies that reduce healthcare-related financial burdens on employees and their families.
We urge the Chisago County Board to return to the bargaining table with a fair and meaningful offer to end this strike today. Chisago County residents deserve a fully functioning county government, and county employees deserve a contract that recognizes their contributions, safety, and dignity.

Teamsters Local 320 Probation Officers in Washington County have secured a tentative agreement!
The agreement includes significant gains, such as market adjustments, general wage increases, premium pay increases, language enhancements, and accrual improvements.
Members will now vote by mail ballot to ratify the three-year agreement.
