
Teamsters 320 represents Sherburne County Jail Supervisors who recently won an impressive award in interest arbitration. In order to make wages more competitive, employees bargained for a market adjustment to wages in 2025 and 2026 on top of a cost of living adjustment. The County refused and offered only a COLA in 2025 and 2026 with a small additional adjustment to the salary range (but not to individual employee wages) in 2025. After hearing the parties’ positions, an arbitrator awarded the Union’s position on wages in both 2025 and 2026! The result is that Teamsters 320 members will receive a nearly 15% wage increase over two years, with an 8% total increase in 2025 and another 6% in 2026! In addition, the arbitrator awarded the Union’s position on health insurance contributions in 2025 and 2026.
